Born in Moris plunges the audience into a universe combining two artistic approaches that are both complementary and contrasting. A lover of the Indian Ocean islands, Keïvan periodically brings back slices of life, through timeless, eternal black and white shots… He then sublimateshis monochrome silver prints – scenes, places, faces and moments of life emblematic of the island, captured at various times – by partially coloring them with acrylics, giving birth to singular hybrid creations.
Very present on social networks, the winner of the “Regards croisés de l’océan Indien” prize three years in a row, from 2017 to 2019, is already enjoying a good reputation abroad (Germany, United States, etc.) Indeed, the technical level and aesthetic dimension of Keïvan’s photographic works are winning over more and more collectors.
