How has Mauritius fared since the post-Covid recovery?
Mauritius is resilient, as the 2022figures show, since we welcomed 997 250 tourists in total, after two years of Covid had brought the sector to a standstill. 2023 is the year ofrecovery, and we are deploying resources in all our traditional and emerging markets to get back to our usual pre-Covid visitor numbers. We have started the year on a high note, approaching the 300 000 tourists from January to March, but in these difficult global times, we remain optimistic and will do our utmost to achieve our targets.
How will the new Feel our island energy promotional campaign be rolled out?
We relaunched It’s time to discover Mauritius now in 2022. We now invite travelers to “Feel our island energy”. This new campaign highlights the unique immersive experiences that make up the richness of our tourism offering.
