Run, swim and cycle in support of the NGO Kinouété. Scheduled for April 12, the 13 e edition of IBL on the Move is the meeting place for sportsmen and women with a taste for adrenalin and solidarity. ZA
Whether you’re an amateur, a seasoned golfer or simply an enthusiast, here’s a great opportunity to take a deep breath of fresh air for a charitable cause. The IBL on the Move races take place at Azuri Ocean & Golf Village, located in Roches Noires. 6 km or 12 km for runners, solo and relay triathlons, as well as a 40 km mountain bike event are on the program. The event will be held in an atmosphere of fair play and camaraderie, where participants will be able to surpass their personal bests in a spirit of good humor.
Claire Coulier, Head of Communications at IBL, recalls that since its creation in 2013, IBL on the Move has highlighted sport as a positive driving force in society: “For this 13ᵉ edition, we are delighted to support the NGO Kinouété, which believes in reintegration and helps individuals rebuild their lives.” With a month to go before the event, she is looking forward to welcoming a large audience – from 6 to 75 years old – willing to ” run, pedal and swim in support of this important cause”.
Active since 2003, the Kinouété association is known for its work in prisons. Dominique Chan Low, M&E, Advocacy and Policy Executive at Kinouété, explains: “We believe that sport is a powerful response. It provides structure, discipline and a positive escape. With IBL on the Move, we can reach more young people and offer them a brighter future”. All funds raised through registration fees will be donated to Kinouété.
