The protocol
At the Bellezza by Yoshini and Sandra institute in Pointe aux Canonniers, Françoise entrusts the skin-tightening muscles of her face and neck to the gentle, expert hands of Yoshini – who, like Sandra, is trained in Kobido techniques – for a massage as surprising as it is relaxing. An ancestral art, like origami or the tea ceremony, the method tones tissues and relaxes muscles, while rebalancing the body’s energy circulation. The complete 1h30 treatment treats each half of the face in turn, but can be reduced to 45 minutes to work on both simultaneously. The protocol comprises three stages: lifting massage, acupressure and draining massage. Françoise then discovers that Yoshini acts on the very precise points of her meridians, and therefore indirectly on her organs. Strange is the correlation between the many pressure points on the face and the intestine, stomach (whose meridian has eight lateral points), bladder, gallbladder, etc.
The technique
In the soothing half-light of the cabin, Yoshini’s concentration, skill and variations in rhythm soon win Françoise over.
