The voice of the LGBTQIA+ community
“Always together: united in diversity” was the message of IDAHOBIT – the International Day for the Elimination of Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia – which on May 17 brought together Milko Van Gool, European Union Cooperation Officer in Mauritius, and members of CAEC around its President Ridwaan Ah Seek and Director Jean Daniel Wong.
In addition to new services and activities, CAEC’s new political advocacy aims at the recognition of civil status for people of different genders, civil unions for those of the same sex, the penalization of hate speech and crimes based on sexual orientation, etc.
Because no discrimination or stigmatization will ever be acceptable, La Gazette Mag continues to support the CAEC and all militant human rights organizations, for a Mauritian society rich in all its differences, open and tolerant!
