In mid-August, Casela Nature Parks acquired a fleet of 100% electric vehicles, to introduce visitors to the African safari which, until now, has been reserved for quads.
The Eco Riders safari offers an ecological and silent way to get up close to impalas, rhinos, elands, oryx, giraffes and other savannah animals. This revolutionary new four-wheeler is easy to drive, whether seated or standing, and gets you up close and personal with the wildlife. Drivers must be at least 16 years old, but the park has thought of the youngest, offering children as young as 5 years old the chance to ride in the back seat of the vehicle, and join in the adventure.
It’s an hour-long immersion in the wilderness of this magnificent western region. Eventually, the machines are destined to replace quads, which are considered environmentally unfriendly and noisy.
